Plot
As co-directed by Xavier Brillat, Pierre Trividic and Patrick Mario Bernard, the offbeat drama Dancing concerns a hermitic gay artist named Rene Bernard (played by director Patrick Bernard) who spends all of his time living and creating new artwork in an ornate ballroom by the French seaside. His only companion is his lover Patric (Trividic) - a belletrist suffering from extreme writer's block. Rene's days progress satisfactorily until Patric leaves for a lengthy vacation; left to fend for himself, Rene falls increasingly out of touch with reality - he initially fixates over a creepy photograph of two clowns that hangs in the facility, then becomes convinced that a spirit is haunting him.
