After graduating from Trent University in Peterborough, Ontario, with a degree in biology, Sakovich was discovered by the Elite Modeling Agency. She traveled the world as an international model, moving first to New York, then settling in Europe where, for three years, she graced covers and runways in Germany, Italy, France and England.
Turning to acting, Sakovich quickly landed roles in a variety of television productions. Her credits include the role of 'Terry Ventura' in the recent TV movie Jesse 'The Body' Ventura, the lead role in Golden Will: The Silken Laumann Story and featured performances in And Then There Was One and The Lawrencia Bambenek Story: Woman On The Run. Sakovich's many series credits include a lead role in Destiny Ridge, a recurring role on Katts And Dog, and guest performances on Comics, Kung Fu, Matrix, Top Cops and Beyond Reality.
A fitness enthusiast, Sakovich enjoys horseback riding, tennis, rock climbing, ice climbing and cardiovascular and weight training.
She currently lives in Toronto, Ontario, Canada.
